A week ago we previewed the Barnsley encounter with the Gills probably slight favourites in a game for the first time in quite a while.
As has been spoken about since, we all know that didn’t quite go to plan.
Gaffer Justin Edinburgh said in the immediate aftermath of the need to react properly, starting with Tuesdays visit to our historical friends Swindon.
Again, we all know how the lads responded in a marvellous 3-0 victory, with striker Cody McDonald at his imperious best.
Oooh Cody McDonald celebrating Tuesday’s win with John Marquis.
So on to tomorrow…..
As quickly as we wanted to forget the Barnsley display, we have to do the same with the Swindon win.
It’s gone now and we have to get our heads right for what will be another tough encounter with a side who currently occupy the last Play Off place.
Doncaster arrive at the MEMS Priestfield on the back of a decent run in which they’ve won four of their last six.
However, all of those victories have come at home, and their recent away record is patchy.
From a possie twelve points they’ve collected only five, their solitary win coming at lowly Crawley.
They did collect a creditable point at high flying Preston as recently as Tuesday though, only being denied the win in the final moments.
Gills’ Team News
Having been so impressive in the midweek victory at the County Ground, it is hard to imagine Justin Edinburgh making any changes, as he has championed consistency and continuity since arriving.

Last weekend’s performance was one of the flattest in recent memory, but on Tuesday everyone got back to the levels they know they can reach.
If we start properly again tomorrow, and play off the front foot as well as we did then there is no reason why we cannot claim maximum points.
